Is GATE tougher than JEE?

For PSUs or IITs for Masters, Gate is the toughest. For foreign universities, GRE/GMAT is the toughest. For AIIMS, it’s the toughest. For becoming a CA, that’s the toughest for you. Want to join the Indian Forces? NDA/CDS is the toughest. The same goes for SSC-CGL/CHSL/IBPS exams.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? Me: 'Everyone agrees JEE is tough. It’s impressive to have such a deep understanding at a young age. But let me ask you, which do you think is tougher, getting into Google/Facebook or IIT?'

Sister: 'No way, it’s not even relevant to compare them.'

Me: 'Exactly! The same applies to Gate. When people say Gate is tough, they usually mean it’s tough for PSUs. Gate questions might be easier, but the competition is fierce due to limited seats.'
